The root of Sichuan Teasel, or Xu Duan, is a TCM herb classified as a kidney yang tonic. It has been used for millenia internally and topically to support the musculoskeletal system- particulary weak knees and ankles*. It is a perennial plant with tall stems and a burst of fragrant white flowers from a globular flowerhead. The variety of Teasel we source is native to southern China, where it is geo-authentically cultivated and Non-GMO.
