Known in Chinese Medicine as Ren Shen, it has a long history of use and was described by Li Shizhen in his 1596 Materia Medica as a “superior tonic.” Our organic Chinese root is imported by a third generation US based importer. The root is used to produce our superior extract which David Winston uses in his Men’s Formula, Energy Adapt and Women’s Adapt.
