Osha, a member of the Apiaceae or carrot family, grows in the moist well drained meadows of the mountain subalpine zone in the western US among the aspens, firs and oaks. We have established long-term and trustworthy relationships with our suppliers, a network of ethically-minded wildcrafters who practice sustainable wild-harvesting of Osha. We primarily source Osha only as part of our herbal compound formulas. We occasionally offer Osha as a single extract when our supply exceeds our formula needs. We, along with other industry members through the AHPA ERB foundation, have funded a multi-year collaborative sustainability study on the harvest and replanting of Osha with researchers at the University of Kansas and the Forest Service.
