A native to East and Southeast Asia, Kudzu was brought to the US in the 1800's to help control erosion. That plan worked incredibly well, and it is now known as the "vine-that-ate-the-South." Be that as it may, for over 2000 years, Kudzu root has been used in Traditional Chinese medicine. Our Kudzu root is wildcrafted from the Southeast US.
