Collinsonia is an aromatic member of the Lamiaceae (mint) family. Most companies, if they make an extract of the plant, use only the root, but the Eclectic physicians who introduced this plant into their practice were clear that the most effective preparation, which they called “aromatic Collinsonia”, was made from the fresh leaf, flowers, stems and root, which is what we make.
